Daniel @ 1 1/2 Months

Daniel is a month and a half old! I took him in this past Tuesday for his one month check up, but since he was so close to two months, they decided to count it as his two month check up too, which means he got shots. Oh boy. This kid is very sensitive and has a low pain tollerance, so shots were interesting. He was very grouchy over the next 24 hours and ran a fever, which was really weird for me because Diana never had any reaction to shots, ever. She'd cry as they were sticking her, but once the needle came out, it was like nothing happened. Anyways, I'm glad it's over for now and that I don't have to take him in again until he's 4 motnths old (especially since this time I had to wait over an hour and a half to get to see the doctor because they were running behind). Yay!  Here are his stats:

Weight: 10.6 lbs (47%)
Height: 21.5 in (23%)
Head: 38.5 cm (36%)

Here are his NEWBORN stats for comparison:

Weight: 6 lbs 13 oz (10%)
Height: 18 1/4 in (18%)
Head:  35 cm (37%)

So, my little guy is still pretty little, but considering how small he started out, he's grown quite a bit!
We think he has a chocolate intollerance, which means no more chocolate for me for the next 4 months. Boo. But hey, if it makes him happy then it's worth the sacrifice.
Other than him crying and spitting up a lot, he can smile and laugh a little, he loves to be in his swing (that's where he sleeps at night), he LOVES baths (yay!), he's very good with a binky, he has always been very alert and loves to look around, and he likes to coo and 'talk' when he's feeling good. His gross umbilical cord finally fell out when he was a month and a day old..it took forever to go away and now he's got a super-cute inny belly button. He's still got dark brown eyes and his hair is still dark brown, but its thinning out now.
