Apparently, Diana is getting sick of breast milk because she has now resorted to chewing and sucking on my clothes, skin, her own hands, and just about anything that you put in her mouth. She sucks and chews and chews and chews and sucks...and SLOBBERS! Oh my goodness, the slobbering. SO GROSS!! My clothes are clovered with "snail trails" where she's drooled all over and chewed me to death. My guess as to why she's developed this new delightful behavior would be that she's going through an early stage of teething....or that I'm not feeding her enough. But I'm going to assume that since she eats every two hours still and is average for her weight that she's not malnourished. I just wanted to share her new fun habit with everyone. Hopefully I can get her holding onto toys soon so that she'll chew on those instead of me.
Dude I can't believe she could be teething this early...WOW! I am not looking forward to their "teething" period! YIKES!
ReplyDeleteI know, Ally! Thankfully though they can go through this minor teething period for several months before they start cutting teeth and go through the painful teething period. And I'm with you, I'm not looking forward to the grumpy teething period!
