Turning 4!

Back on February 26th, my beautiful Diana Banana turned 4 years old! She was so excited for the LONGEST time for her birthday to arrive, and when it finally did, she was in HEAVEN! (Seriously, she's been asking if it's her birthday yet since September.) The weekend before her actual birthday, we celebrated her birthday with the Steadman side at Grandma and Grandpa Steadman's. She got SO MANY amazing gifts (barbie dolls, clothes, coloring books, etc) and she LOVED LOVED LOVED each and every one of them. She was VERY excited about her first birthday celebration.
On her actual birthday, I woke up early and decorated a little before she woke up. When she woke up, I sang her "Happy Birthday" and let her open one present from me (4 new pairs of play shoes and two crowns). We then spent the day doing whatever she wanted. She got to wear whatever she wanted (she chose her dance outfit with her new play shoes and crown), we went to see Daddy and work and all went out to lunch at Panera Bread (her choice, she LOVES their Mac N Cheese!), then we went to Grandma & Grandpa Downer's, and Grandma Downer had a big bag of gifts for Diana, each thing PERFECT for my little girly princess (she was SO EXCITED!!).

When Daddy got home from work, he brought with him a HUGE Hello Kitty balloon and yellow roses (her favorite!) for the birthday girl. Brownie points to the best daddy a little girl could ask for! We then opened a package that had arrived while we were out and about that day and discovered that it was a gift for Diana from her cousin Jacey! New "Frozen" mini barbie dolls!! She was so excited she was shaking, seriously.
We then had Diana's favorite food for dinner: Grandma's Soup (Mike's mom makes/cans a homemade tomato soup every fall that we eat over macaroni noodles, and it's super scrumptious!). After dinner, we sang to Diana and let her blow out the candles on her (scary-looking) Barbie Princess cake,
and then she got to open gifts from Mommy & Daddy. By the end of the night, she had had the best day of her life, and she was so happy. It was DEFINITELY a GREAT birthday!
(I'm sad I didn't take more photos, but we were so busy enjoying our day together that I forgot to get more.)
